Windmill Golf Center will be conducting Junior Winter Golf Camps once again in 2019. The purpose of these camps are to provide juniors with a positive and fun learning environment so that they can flourish under the direction of experienced, motivated and highly skilled instructors while having a memorable time.

Junior Campers will be instructed by Class A PGA Golf Professionals, Randy Dietz and Ross Keen. Participants will complete various drills on the essentials of chipping, putting and the fundamentals of the full golf swing. The Camp Package includes an 18 Tournament at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna OH, NOPGA rules official going over rule changes for 2019, a college golf coach talking about what they are looking for in a student athlete and Neal Hausch who is a strength & conditioning coach who trains golfers and hosts the PGA Tour Players at his facility during the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

Class Sizes are limited to 10 participants and each session will be instructed by 2 to 3 golf professionals.
In addition, guest instructors will provide their expertise during the session weeks.

The Windmill Golf Center, located at 1511 East Aurora Rd. Macedonia, Ohio, reopened in April of 2012. It is affiliated with Windmill Lakes Golf Club, an 18 upscale Championship golf course in Ravenna, Ohio. Trent Maxwell, a PGA Class A member, is the Director of Golf and one of the top club fitters in the nation.

On property is a 3000 square foot golf shop, a 27 – Hole outdoor short course and an upscale outdoor golf practice facility open to the public and open all year. It includes 2 state of the art teaching and fitting studios, 20 covered and heated range stations and multiple grass tees plus a practice green with a chipping area.

Inside is a state of the art putting and chipping studio – 2500 square feet. It allows for all types and
lengths of putts and chips.

For Teaching and Fitting, Windmill Golf Center has fitting systems from all major manufactures while being a nationally recognized Ping Regional Fitting Center and Titleist Advanced Fitting Center. In addition, Windmill Golf Center uses Trackman III Pro the latest and greatest in Radar Doppler launch monitor that measures 27 different variables of swing and ball flight.
